This should be our attitude (that of Paul) wrought by the Spirit of God (I suspect few of us could say the same!)

Paul said ” My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved” Romans 10:1
Where do they live? Total world population 13.7 million. Diaspora nearly 8 million. 50% speak English and 35% Hebrew.

My father’s family were Polish Jews from Wroclaw most of whom died in the holocaust-he escaped to the UK in 1938.
There are many parachurch organisations dedicated to Jewish Outreach eg Christian Witness to Israel, Churches Mission to the Jews, Jews for Jesus, Messianic Testimony, Hebrew Christian Alliance etc They believe that because of the Jews priviledges and Romans 1:16 that they must be a priority in mission work and this is true but where they often are in error is in thinking that God has a national covenant with all Jews rather than just His elect among them and that there will be a national repentance before Christ returns.
Romans 3:1-2: “What advantage then hath the Jew? … Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.”
Paul’s prayer was that the Jews might be saved. Romans 10:1. They are a privileged people but their zeal (the orthodox among them) is not according to knowledge. There remains a veil over their eyes.As a Reformed believer I believe that God has covenanted to save a remnant of the Jews. There will never be a national turning of these people-they are as lost and needy as all the Gentile peoples but have the priviledge of the oracles of God (OT Scriptures) and most of the NT was written by Jews and the central figure of all revelation Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Mashiach) was as a man a Jew .However they can only be saved in the same way ie by hearing the Gospel of the Messiah preached and coming to true faith in Him. God’s covenant of grace centres on Christ and all the elect in Him-Jew and Gentile. They are not all Israel who are of Israel. The NT teaching is that a true Jew is one inwardly, that is one who has a circumcised heart and not a physical circumcision only.
PRAY FOR THE SALVATION OF THE REMNANT AMONG THE JEWS and for their being added to true churches. We are ONE BODY.

Pray for prepared hearts.Pray for the followers of Christ The Lord is increasingly calling His own people the Jews to Himself. Pray for His followers among these Israeli Jews, that they will be faithful witnesses to their family and friends. Pray they will live lives that fully honor Jesus.Pray for the entire people group Pray for the Jews, that the veil over their eyes will increasingly be lifted, allowing them to truly see Jesus.Scripture Focus “Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.
