Hope in Kazakhstan

Orphans in this country after years in their orphanages often enter lives of crime ending up in prison. Open Doors contacts distribute Christian books in the prisons and Asel, one of the workers, tells of Munira, a teenager imprisoned for murder being recently converted. She testifies to living in anger and hatred towards parents who abandoned her, and the rest of society. The books she read in Russian spoke of God’s love for sinners and the love shown here by visiting the Christian helped bring her to repentance.
